Local Cycling Routes

These are some cycling routes regularly ridden by local cyclists in the area. They are primarily on low traffic-paved and unpaved roads. Ride responsibly, and at your own risk.

St. Albans-Tornado Loop

This is a paved loop starting at the back parking lot of John's Cyclery in St. Albans, WV. Click on the route map at right to download the GPX file.

Note: The route uses a pedestrian bridge at Hayes Middle School and cuts through the school campus.

St. Albans-Griffithsville Out and Back

This is a paved out and back ride. It begins in the back parking lot of John's Cyclery in St. Albans, WV and the turn around point is Duval Middle School in Griffithsville. Click on the route map at right to download the GPX file.

St. Albans-Rider’s Creek Loop

Upland Gravel Loop 

This is a gravel and paved route that begins and ends at Hannan High School in Upland, Mason County, WV. The gravel ranges from hardpacked to loose and chunky. A gravel bike is recommended. Click on the route map at right to download the GPX file.
